01 / SELECTED WORK

Different ideas.
The same care.

From simplifying a working day to connecting people beyond the internet. A selection of apps taking shape at the studio.

Showing 4 projects

ProductivityStudio project

Turn voice notes and customer messages into reviewed job briefs, quotes, and invoices for UK trades.

ConnectionIn development

Bluetooth mesh messaging that explores a different way to connect nearby iPhones.

ProductivityIn development

An app in development to help turn item photos into marketplace listings, with pricing and profit tracking.

LearningIn development

An iPhone and iPad project helping children and new Muslims learn prayer with guided, hands-free practice.

02 / THE CAPABILITIES

The craft behind
the experience.

Good software connects the interface, the intelligence, and the systems underneath. That’s where my experience comes together.

03 / MEET THE MAKER

Hi, I’m Layth.
Curiosity is my
starting point.

I’m a generalist software engineer and technical lead, comfortable connecting apps, AI, cybersecurity, networking, and embedded systems. I enjoy taking an idea all the way through to something people can use.

I’ve been a problem solver since my university years. Difficult mental challenges are part of what I enjoy about engineering—especially finding a way forward within real limitations, whether that’s hardware, time, or the resources available.

My work reaches from healthcare collaboration and financial data platforms to PCB design, ARM microcontrollers, and an EMG-driven prosthetic hand. That breadth shapes how I build: understand the whole system, then bring the right tools to the problem.

I hold DeepLearning.AI certifications and am currently studying part-time for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Essex in the UK.

My name, Lyth, means lion in Arabic. I write it as Layth to make it easier to read and say. Fun Lion Studios is a little of that identity in everything I build.

LaythGeneralist. Engineer. Maker. Always learning.
